Song is great, it does remind me of loss.
On a slightly more personal note:
I disagree, i shun death all the time. My grandmother died and i really did not care, when my parents die i will probably laugh with joy. This is the reason you shouldn't get attached to people, Emotion is weakness and can be used against you.
Sorry if i offend anyone, just my outlook on the sujject

No one is emotionless. Your parents would have to be terrible beings to loathe them and then to laugh that they have passed on. It's a bad thing to think your emotionless when in fact your far from it. You obviously had not had a great relationship where you would see you grandparents on a daily basis.
Emotion is far from weakness. Emotion is how we discover, how we live and can continue on. If we have no attachment to the world we live in then why live it. You will mature and understand this later on when you become responsible for the things you say and do.
It's a very lonely life to be emotionless.
